Prayer Ministry

Mission Statement:

The Prayer Ministry commits to helping people connect with Christ through prayer. Aiming to teach and lead the church in both individual and corporate prayer.  Humbly coming before God with a repentant heart, seeking His will and submitting to Jesus Christ as the Head of the church and obey His command that His church will be called a ‘House of Prayer for all nations”. Isaiah 56:7


Vision of Things to Come:

  • Teaching on prayer -   Organizing, training and encouraging a prayer team
  • Prayer teams for praying during the worship celebrations
  • Prayer seminars
  • Healing service
  • National Day of Prayer, 1st Thursday in May
  • Prayer walking
Wednesday & Sunday Morning Prayer:
  • Wednesday - Join us for prayer 6:30-8:00 pm in the Worship Center, when available, or the chior room (adjacent to the Worship Center)
  • Sunday morning - before worship from 8:00-9:20 am in the chior room

College Guardian Angel Prayer Ministry - The Education Committee is coordinating a Guardian Angel program to support our college students.  If you have a college student that you would like to sign up for the program, please provide contact information to the office.  If you are interested in possibly being a Guardian Angel, please see Kendra Comps or Wendy Behrenwald for more information.

Lakewood Prayer Chain

The Church Prayer Chain is a method whereby prayer needs are efficiently communicated throughout the congregation. Prayer needs are referred to the church office during business hours (weekdays 9:00am till 3:30pm) or by email anytime to The request is then emailed to the entire church prayer chain.
